Discover something worth cooking.

A native Android app for discovering recipes and keeping favorites close. I built more than 15 screens, connected TheMealDB, and added offline caching and secure sign-in.

Explore the build

ViewBinding and the Navigation Component connect the screens. Reusable RecyclerView adapters keep the lists consistent; cached favorites support offline use.

Authentication uses Firebase, Credential Manager, and Google Sign-In.

An Arabic study companion.

A collaborative education project helping Egyptian secondary-school students revise Arabic grammar and rhetoric. The web app offers focused explanations, source references when available, and saved conversations.

My contribution: Co-development of the Agentic RAG system

Explore the approach

Built around 3,806 curriculum records, the retrieval pipeline combines BM25 with Chroma, reciprocal rank fusion, and reranking. LangGraph coordinates the workflow, with Qwen3 and Gemini model options.

The live assistant focuses on third-secondary grammar and rhetoric, including comparisons, examples, summaries, and guided practice.

I’m George, an Android developer who likes turning complex problems into useful experiences.

I graduated in Computer Science from Assiut University and build with Kotlin, MVVM, and Firebase. Alongside Android development, I’ve worked with a team on NILE_LM to explore curriculum-grounded AI for Egyptian students.

I’m continuing that journey at ITI, in the nine-month Native Mobile Applications Development with AI Integration programme.
